Using the Exchange Search

Use our exchange search to locate other exchangers that match your criteria.

• State / Province
• Preferred Date Range
• Hosted or Un-Hosted preference
• Lodging or No Lodging preference
• Species to hunt or fish

Using the map to select a state:

The map of the United States and Canada allows you to select a state or province to see the number of available exchanges and the species that are available for that state.

The states / provinces are also color-coded to represent the number of exchanges in each state that match your search criteria.

Non-Map Search

If you are on a slow internet connection, and the map is taking too long to load. You can use the Non-Map Search.

How do I contact a member?

First you must be a paid member. Click the "Send a Message" button on the exchanger's page, and a textfield will appear for you to send an email message. The message will come from the Outdoorsman Exchange website, so your email address will not be given out until you feel comfortable to provide it. Some sample letters have been provided for you to see

Reserving an account

You can reserve your account by signing up today. Your account will stay reserved, but inactive, until you make your payment.

Entering your exchange information

After you reserve your account, you can begin to enter your exchange information. Enter your interests, what you have to offer, your desired date range, and any other pertinent information for your exchange.

Entering your payment information

Once you have reserved your account and entered your exchange information, you will need to make your payment to activate your account. The payment system is secure, and we do not store your credit card information.

Signing-in to manage your exchange

Once your account is set up, you will be able to sign in from any computer to manage your exchange. You can modify your exchange whenever you want to add or remove game, change your preferred date range, etc.

Adding photos to your exchange

You can add photos to your exchange at any time by going to the Actions section of the Members Dashboard.

Modifying your account contact information

Using the Modify Account Contact Information section in the Members Dashboard, you can change your contact information, your password, and your address at any time.

Removing your exchange

In the Actions section of your Members Dashboard, there is an option to remove your exchange. If you would like to remove your exchange, it will be removed permanently and you will not be able to sign in again.

Sending and receiving messages from other exchangers

To send and receive messages from other exchangers, you will need to have an active membership. Your email address is protected and cannot be seen by the recipient.
